Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer

Effective Date: April 17, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 17, 2026

Signal Core s.r.o.  |  IČO: 24460354

IMPORTANT RISK WARNING: This document contains critical information regarding the risks associated with trading and investing in financial markets and the use of the TTerminal platform. You should read this entire document carefully before using the Service. Trading in financial instruments, including foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), equities, commodities, indices, options, and cryptocurrencies, carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You could lose some or all of your invested capital. You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.

1. General Risk Warning

1.1 Nature of Financial Markets

Financial markets are inherently volatile and unpredictable. The value of financial instruments can fluctuate rapidly and substantially due to a wide range of factors, many of which are beyond the control of any individual, entity, or analytical system. These factors include, but are not limited to, economic conditions, monetary policy decisions, geopolitical events, market sentiment, liquidity conditions, regulatory changes, natural disasters, and technological disruptions.

1.2 Risk of Loss

Trading and investing in financial instruments involves substantial risk of financial loss. You may lose some, all, or more than your initial investment. You should carefully consider whether trading or investing is appropriate for you in light of your financial circumstances, investment experience, risk tolerance, and investment objectives. Only risk capital — money you can afford to lose without affecting your lifestyle or financial obligations — should be used for trading or investing.

1.3 No Guarantee of Profit

No trading system, methodology, analytical tool, or information source can guarantee profits or prevent losses. Regardless of the quality of analysis, market conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly. There is no certainty that any trading or investment strategy will achieve its objectives.

1.4 Individual Responsibility

All trading and investment decisions are made solely at your own risk and discretion. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make, regardless of whether such decisions are informed by Content or analytical outputs obtained through the TTerminal platform. Before making any financial decision, you should consult with a qualified, licensed financial advisor who can provide personalized advice based on your individual circumstances.

2. Specific Asset Class Risks

2.1 Foreign Exchange (Forex)

Trading in foreign exchange markets involves specific risks, including:

  • Leverage Risk: Forex trading is typically conducted using leverage, which amplifies both potential gains and potential losses. A small market movement can result in proportionally much larger gains or losses relative to the margin deposited. You may be required to deposit additional funds (margin call) to maintain your positions.
  • Interest Rate Risk: Changes in interest rates by central banks can cause significant and rapid movements in currency values.
  • Country and Sovereign Risk: The economic and political conditions of a country can affect its currency value. Currency controls, devaluations, or sovereign debt crises can result in significant losses.
  • Liquidity Risk: Under certain market conditions, it may be difficult or impossible to execute orders at the desired price, particularly during periods of high volatility, low liquidity, or market disruptions.
  • Weekend and Holiday Risk: Currency markets may experience significant gaps in pricing between the close of one trading session and the opening of the next, particularly over weekends and holidays.

2.2 Contracts for Difference (CFDs)

CFDs are complex financial instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Between 65% and 82% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs, according to regulatory disclosures across EU jurisdictions. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Specific CFD risks include:

  • Counterparty Risk: CFDs are over-the-counter (OTC) instruments, meaning your counterparty is the CFD provider (broker). If the provider becomes insolvent, you may lose your funds.
  • Overnight Financing: Holding CFD positions overnight may incur financing charges that can erode the value of your position over time.
  • Gapping Risk: CFD prices can gap significantly, meaning your stop-loss order may be executed at a price materially different from the level you set.
  • No Ownership: CFDs do not confer ownership of the underlying asset. You do not have shareholder rights, dividend rights (except as adjustments), or voting rights.

2.3 Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets

Cryptocurrency and digital asset markets involve unique and extreme risks, including:

  • Extreme Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices can experience daily fluctuations of 10%, 20%, or more. Total loss of value is possible.
  • Regulatory Uncertainty: The regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies varies significantly across jurisdictions and is subject to rapid change. Regulatory actions, including bans, restrictions, or new reporting requirements, can materially affect cryptocurrency values.
  • Technology Risk: Cryptocurrencies depend on blockchain technology, which may be subject to software bugs, protocol vulnerabilities, consensus failures, 51% attacks, or other technological risks.
  • Irreversible Transactions: Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. Errors, fraud, or unauthorized transactions cannot be reversed or recovered.
  • Market Manipulation: Cryptocurrency markets may be more susceptible to market manipulation, wash trading, and other abusive practices due to their decentralized and often unregulated nature.
  • Exchange Risk: Cryptocurrency exchanges may be subject to hacking, insolvency, fraud, or regulatory action, potentially resulting in loss of funds.
  • Stablecoin Risk: Stablecoins may de-peg from their reference asset, resulting in loss of expected value.

2.4 Equities and Indices

Investing in equities and equity indices involves risks including, but not limited to, market risk, sector risk, single-stock concentration risk, liquidity risk, earnings risk, and the risk of corporate events (mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, delistings). Equity values can decline to zero in the event of corporate insolvency.

2.5 Options and Derivatives

Options and other derivatives are complex instruments that may involve risks including:

  • Time Decay: Options lose value as they approach expiration (theta decay).
  • Leverage Risk: Derivatives can provide significant leverage, amplifying both gains and losses.
  • Complexity: The pricing of options involves multiple variables (underlying price, strike, time, volatility, interest rates). Misunderstanding these factors can lead to significant losses.
  • Assignment Risk: Option sellers may be assigned exercise notices at any time (American-style options), potentially resulting in unexpected obligations.
  • Unlimited Loss Potential: Certain options strategies (e.g., naked call writing) carry theoretically unlimited loss potential.

2.6 Commodities

Commodity markets are influenced by supply and demand fundamentals, weather, geopolitical events, government policies, and speculative activity. Commodity prices can be extremely volatile and are subject to sudden, unpredictable movements.

3. Market Data Accuracy Disclaimer

3.1 Data Provided "As Is"

All market data, prices, quotes, charts, and related information displayed on the TTerminal platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we endeavor to provide accurate and timely data, we do not warrant that any market data is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or error-free.

3.2 Data Latency and Delays

Real-time data may be subject to latency, delays, or interruptions due to network conditions, data provider issues, exchange-level delays, or technical factors. Displayed prices may differ from actual market prices at any given time. You should not rely solely on Platform-displayed data for time-sensitive trading decisions. Always verify prices with your broker or exchange before executing trades.

3.3 Third-Party Data Sources

The Platform aggregates data from multiple third-party data providers, including Polygon.io, Bybit, Twelve Data, Tiingo, and GDELT. Each data provider has its own terms of service, data quality standards, and limitations. We do not independently verify the accuracy of third-party data and are not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays originating from data providers. Specific limitations include:

  • Polygon.io: Provides equities, indices, forex, crypto, and options data. Options data may be delayed by up to 15 minutes. Data coverage and granularity may vary by asset class and plan.
  • Bybit: Provides cryptocurrency derivatives and spot data. Bybit data reflects conditions on the Bybit exchange and may differ from prices on other exchanges.
  • Twelve Data: Provides real-time and historical market data. Coverage and data quality may vary by instrument.
  • Tiingo: Provides equities and news data. Historical data coverage and accuracy may vary.
  • GDELT: Provides global events and news data. GDELT data is processed from open-source media and may contain biases, inaccuracies, or incomplete coverage.

3.4 Historical Data

Historical market data may contain errors, gaps, or inconsistencies due to data provider limitations, corporate actions (splits, dividends, mergers), exchange rule changes, or data cleaning processes. Historical data should not be assumed to be complete or accurate.

4. Machine Learning Model Limitations

4.1 Nature of ML Models

The TTerminal platform operates 42 proprietary machine learning models that process market data and generate analytical outputs. It is essential that you understand the following fundamental limitations of these models:

4.2 Models Are Analytical Tools, Not Predictors

ML models are sophisticated analytical tools that identify patterns, correlations, and statistical relationships in data. They are NOT prediction systems. Model outputs represent mathematical computations based on available data and should be treated as one input among many in your decision-making process. No model, regardless of its sophistication, can predict future market movements with certainty.

4.3 Model-Specific Disclaimers

The following disclaimers apply to specific categories of ML models and analytical tools on the Platform:

4.3.1 CAESAR Scoring System

CAESAR scores are composite analytical scores generated by processing multiple data inputs through machine learning algorithms. These scores represent a quantitative assessment of market conditions at a point in time and should not be interpreted as buy, sell, or hold recommendations. CAESAR scores can change rapidly as new data becomes available and may not reflect sudden market events or regime changes.

4.3.2 MARS Geopolitical Risk Model

The MARS geopolitical risk model processes news data, event databases, and other public information sources to generate geopolitical risk assessments and region-specific scores. These assessments are analytical in nature and reflect the model's processing of available information. They do not constitute geopolitical intelligence, government-level risk assessments, or reliable predictions of geopolitical events. Geopolitical situations can escalate or de-escalate rapidly and unpredictably in ways that no model can fully anticipate.

4.3.3 News Impact Scoring

The Platform's news impact scoring system uses natural language processing and machine learning to assess the potential market impact of news articles and events. These scores represent the model's assessment of relevance and potential significance based on historical patterns. News impact scores: (a) are generated automatically and may not reflect the true significance of an event; (b) may be delayed relative to real-time market reactions; (c) may misinterpret sarcasm, nuance, or context; (d) should not be used as a sole basis for trading decisions.

4.3.4 COT Data Analysis

The Platform provides analysis of Commitment of Traders (COT) data published by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This analysis is based on publicly available data and our analytical interpretation thereof. You should understand that: (a) COT data is released with a delay (typically three business days after the reporting date); (b) COT data reflects positions as of the reporting date and may not reflect current positioning; (c) our analytical interpretation of COT data represents one possible interpretation and does not constitute a definitive assessment of market positioning; (d) the CFTC has not reviewed or approved our analysis.

4.3.5 Sentiment and Volatility Models

Sentiment scores, volatility indicators, and other model outputs reflect the model's processing of quantitative data at a specific point in time. Market sentiment can shift rapidly and without warning. Volatility models based on historical data may underestimate tail risks and extreme events. Past volatility is not a reliable indicator of future volatility.

4.4 General Model Limitations

All ML models on the Platform are subject to the following general limitations:

  • Training Data Bias: Models are trained on historical data that may not be representative of future conditions. Structural changes in markets, regulations, or economic regimes may render historical patterns unreliable.
  • Overfitting: Despite safeguards, models may be overfit to historical patterns that do not persist in future conditions.
  • Black Swan Events: ML models cannot anticipate truly unprecedented events (black swan events) that have no historical precedent in the training data.
  • Regime Changes: Models may underperform during market regime changes (e.g., transitions from low to high volatility, from trending to range-bound conditions, or from accommodative to restrictive monetary policy).
  • Data Quality Dependency: Model outputs are only as reliable as the input data. Errors, delays, or gaps in input data will affect model outputs.
  • Model Decay: The predictive utility of models may degrade over time as market conditions evolve.
  • No Causation: Models identify statistical correlations, which do not imply causation. Correlated patterns may break down without warning.

5. Past Performance Disclaimer

5.1 Past Performance Is Not Indicative of Future Results

PAST PERFORMANCE, WHETHER ACTUAL OR INDICATED BY HISTORICAL TESTS, BACKTESTS, OR SIMULATIONS, IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS. This principle applies to all performance data, backtesting results, model accuracy metrics, and any other historical performance information presented on the Platform.

5.2 Backtesting Limitations

Backtested or hypothetical performance results have significant inherent limitations. Unlike actual trading results, backtested results: (a) do not represent actual trading; (b) are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight; (c) do not account for all factors that can affect real trading, including market impact, slippage, transaction costs, liquidity constraints, and emotional factors; (d) may be subject to survivorship bias, look-ahead bias, or selection bias; (e) may significantly overstate or understate likely real-world performance.

5.3 Simulated Results

Simulated trading programs and performance metrics are designed with the benefit of hindsight and may not fully account for the financial risks associated with actual trading. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown in any simulation.
