This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what cookies TTerminal uses, why we use them, and how you can manage them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise you across pages and sessions and to remember preferences. Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access files on your device.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot log in, navigate, or use core features. We do not require your consent for strictly necessary cookies.
PHPSESSID- keeps you signed in for the duration of your session.csrf_token- protects against cross-site request forgery attacks.cookie_consent- records your cookie preferences so we do not re-prompt you.
Functional
These cookies remember your preferences (e.g., theme, default chart layout, watchlists). They are set only after you sign in.
tt_pref_*- stores per-user UI preferences.tt_layout_*- stores dashboard widget layouts.
Performance and analytics
We use privacy-preserving, server-side analytics that do not set browser cookies and do not transmit personal identifiers to third parties. We do not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or comparable trackers without your explicit consent.
Marketing
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on tterminal.com.
3. Third-party cookies
Embedded content - such as YouTube videos on our blog or guides - may set third-party cookies once you interact with the player. We surface such embeds with a placeholder that requires your consent to load.
4. Managing cookies
You can:
- Adjust your cookie preferences via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the Service.
- Use private/incognito browsing to prevent cookies from being saved between sessions.
5. Do Not Track
We respect browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) signals where technically practical. Because DNT is not a regulated standard, behaviours vary across browsers and we encourage you to use our own cookie controls in addition.
